Having worked in recruitment for over 11 years Dianne has experienced all aspects of recruitment from managing a temporary payroll to consultancy to management. A graduate with honours in Business Administration and a full member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation Dianne initially set up Starting Point Recruitment as a project within its now parent company Steps to Work (Walsall) Limited back in 1999. |

Lucy Baker , Recruitment Consultant
With several years experience in customer service and administration Lucy joined Starting Point Recruitment in July 2001 where she was placed on various temporary assignments within Walsall Council to fit around her studies. Graduating with Honours Lucy secured a permanent position with the company as a full time administrator and has since gone on to complete her training and become the company’s Contract Manager for our largest client .
Lucy is experienced in recruiting across a number of areas from grounds operatives to office managers and is experienced in managing contracts ranging from one hundred pounds to contracts in excess of half a million. |

Tracie Glover, Recruitment Consultant
With several years recruitment experience, Tracie joined Starting Point in March 2006 as an agency consultant.
Previously, Tracie was working for Walsall Council in their recruitment department dealing with a variety of vacancies. Tracie was responsible for uploading job vacancies onto multiple websites, dealing with local, national and international customers and creating the job vacancy bulletin (Job Shop Weekly) on a weekly basis.

Sharon Spinks, Administrative Assistant
With fourteen years experience in a call centre environment Sharon joined Starting Point Recruitment in December 2005. Sharon is responsible for the payroll, invoicing and credit control functions of the company as well as the consultants administration.
Within her previous role Sharon booked transport for people with mobility problems and was in control over fourteen buses at anyone time. As well as being organised Sharon is also experienced in all aspects of finance from purchase and sales ledger to banking to VAT. |

Pam Jones, Administrative Assistant
Pam joined Starting Point Recruitment in March 2006 and is responsible for the payroll, invoicing and credit control functions of the company as well as the consultant’s administration.
For the past 18 years Pam has worked for a chemical company. Initially she provided all round administration from sales order entry to ensuing payment was received on time. For the last nine years however Pam managed a production plant, operating a three shift system responsible for all aspects of a busy manufacturing unit ensuring the department met its goals and delivered a good quality product within a fast paced customer led environment. |

Mandy Blackford Recruitment Consultant
Mandy joined Starting Point in 2006 after a varied career, including 24 years working for the NHS in administration. Mandy’s role is managing the supply of Family Assistants and Contact Workers for local Social Services which ensures provides vital support and assistance for families, children and young people. |

Kate Vallance-Clayton Recruitment Consultant
Kate has been known to Starting Point for a number of years as her previous role saw her managing social care bookings for Walsall Council. October 2007 this part of Walsall’s work fell to ourselves as their appointed master vendor and Kate was the natural choice to join our team.
Having graduated with Honours after initially wanting to become a teacher, Kate has undertaken various jobs before settling on a career she feels at home in! Since joining us Kate has passed her Certificate in Recruitment with Merit and is enjoying every day in her new role. |

Sue Andrews Administrator
Some of you will recognise Sue. Having worked for us for a number of years Sue has undertaken work as a Family Assistant as well as having co-ordinated our Childcare desk for us for several months. Sue missed our office environment and whilst we may have lost access to a Family Assistant we have secured a hard working administrator who has settled right back in. |

Katie Scott Contract Administrator
Katie has recently graduated with Honours after studying English Literature. Throughout her time at university she worked in a customers service role to support her studies. When Katie registered with us for work in December 2007 we snapped her up.
Katie’s role is to support the consultants in all of their administration, the purchasing and confirmation of workers and the updating of our website and she is looking forward to learning more about the recruitment industry. |

Doreen Butler Receptionist
Doreen has been known to Starting Point for several years. Having worked in various administrative roles for our parent company, us, as well as for our clients we have successfully been able to lure her back to the team October 2007. Doreen supports us with our switchboard and administration Monday to Wednesday

Tracey Buckley Credit Control
Tracey joined Starting Point in April 2008 as our full time credit controller. Her role, to support our customers and suppliers in maintaining their respective accounts.
With over 10 years experience of sales ledger within manufacturing industry and 6 years as an accounts technician within insurance, both Tracey and her knowledge of successful debtor and creditor management will be an asset to us. |

James Clinch Recruitment Consultant
After graduating in Philosophy in 2006, James joined a recruitment firm based in Walsall where he provided workers for the commercial, industrial and skilled sectors on both temporary and permanent contracts.
Through this work James became familiar with Starting Point and was very excited about joining the team. With two years experience in temporary and permanent recruitment, James joined Starting Point in December 2008 and is keen to develop his skills and experience further.

Lisa Edwards Resourcer
With a number of years experience within recruitment in a variety of roles Lisa is known to the company having supported us previously on a number of occasions.
Lisa first worked for Starting Point back in 2002 when she managed the supply of our Family Assistants and Contact Workers. More recently Lisa returned to us part time in September 2008, her focus this time, sourcing and recruiting candidates as required by our clients.
