With over 20 years experience of working at a managerial level, 8 within the recruitment industry managing large scale on site contracts within the logistic, retail and food sectors Alan joined us in 2013 to take on our role of Contract Manager. Alan is responsible for all work we do outside of our standard terms of business; identifying and meeting the changing needs of our clients; assessing and managing company performance against KPI's; dispute resolution; and managing our staff teams to ensure successful contract delivery.
Kate has been known to Starting Point for a number of years as her previous role saw her managing social care bookings for Walsall Council. October 2007 this part of Walsall’s work fell to ourselves as their appointed master vendor and Kate was the natural choice to join our team. Kate currently manages all our social care roles. Having graduated with Honours after initially wanting to become a teacher, Kate has undertaken various jobs before settling on a career she feels at home in! Since joining us Kate has passed her Certificate in Recruitment with Merit and CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in HR Management.
Veena joined the company in 2014 with a wealth of experience in delivering Information, Advice & Guidance as well as working to increase employability skills within the labour market. Veena works to attract, select and clear our candidates for placement with our clients. Her experience allows her to go above and beyond for our candidates and support them holistically as well as during their time with us.
With fourteen years experience in a call centre environment Sharon joined Starting Point Recruitment in December 2005. Sharon is responsible for the payroll, invoicing and credit control functions of the company as well as the consultants administration. Within her previous role Sharon booked transport for people with mobility problems and was in control over fourteen buses at anyone time. As well as being organised Sharon is also experienced in all aspects of finance from purchase and sales ledger to banking to VAT.
Lisa first worked for the company back in 2002 when she managed the supply of our Family Assistant/Contact Workers. Lisa then returned to us part time, her focus, sourcing and recruiting candidates. Further to her move back to full time employment Lisa undertook the role of recruitment consultant. Her experience of the company and our systems has proven invaluable as we tasked Lisa to take charge of our credit control function.

Lea is an experienced recruitment specialist with a history of working in the Health and social care industry. Skilled in Management, Customer Service, performance management, office administration, and healthcare staffing, with a proven track record in client management and sales with business growth. Lea is part of the business growth team working with new clients to supply good quality candidates.
Ruth signed up as an agency worker for Starting Point Recruitment at the start of August 2016 and was placed in a role on the reception desk as a Customer Support Administrator for the company by the end of the same month. Since then, she has joined the team full time as a Trainee Consultant and Resourcer, aiding her colleagues in recruiting workers and placing them into their ideal roles.
