Starting Point Recruitment was delighted to bring a new name as a main sponsor to this year’s 12th Walsall Lifelong Learning Awards (WLLA), organised by Walsall Lifelong Learning Alliance (WLLA). The celebration of the Walsall Lifelong Learning Awards is one of the most successful, prestigious events held in the West Midlands.

A great night out was held by all who attended the event at the Banks’s Stadium in Walsall.

Starting Point Recruitment and Walsall Councils Benefits Team were nominated for The Think Walsall Collaboration and Partnership Award by Walsall Council. Both parties were nominated for successfully working efficiently together to engaging with 8 unemployed local residents, placing them into employment within Walsall Council.

A certificate of recognition was presented to both teams to congratulate them on their working partnership, by one of England’s best known rugby and Strictly Come Dancing stars, Austin Healey, who was an excellent, inspiring speaker who certainly had his own learning tale to tell.
