Starting Point Recruitment and Steps to Work collected £419.96 for BBC Children In Need throughout Friday (November 19th).

Staff at Starting Point Recruitment held a delicious homemade bake sale as part of their fundraising day, selling their treats to Walsall Council employees, suppliers and partners. The team collected hundreds of pounds in their film and TV themed fancy dress outfits. The staff had a very enjoyable day getting snapped by the in-house paparazzi and being treated like film stars. The team certainly pulled out all the stops to raise as much money as possible for the children’s charity.

Health and Safety Officer, David Jones braved a sponsored chest wax, with thanks to Walsall College’s beauty therapy team for their support on the day donating the wax treatment.

Collection buckets were also rattling in Walsall town centre and across the Steps to Work sites at Townend House and Challenge Building. All staff had a non-uniform day joining in the fun and adding to the collection.
